Alma Mater Meet-Ups
Book Club
We enjoy gathering over a glass of wine and a good book (yes, we do actually read it, haha), and we work hard to vary our selections between historical fiction, thriller/mystery, biography/memoir, chick lit and other types of literature. We especially enjoy stories with strong female lead characters, and we REALLY love Chi O authors. We meet about every 4-6 weeks for happy hour in the home of a member, and we each bring a bottle of wine or appetizer to share.
Our next happy hour gathering will be Thursday, April 9 at 6:00pm (note time change) at the home of Cathey Humphreys in Glen Lakes - 15 Glenshire Ct, Dallas 75225. We will discuss The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles.

The ladies above met on December 9th to review Culpability by Bruce Holsinger and a merry time was had by all. It was the 20th book club gathering held since the group was formed.
